Welcome
to Backyard Bazookas
Home for novice potato gunning and novelty launching.
Here you'll find all the necessary information you
need to get started building your own potato gun.
Spud launching has become one of the nations fastest
growing pastimes. What is a potato gun? A potato
gun is a novelty device primarily used for launching
or chunking potatoes, vegetables, and various forms
of reusable ammo. Constructed out of PVC pipe or
ABS pipe, fueled by house hold aerosol propellants
that contain gases such as propane, and ignited
by a lantern sparker or BBQ ignitor. These devices
can launch a potato 100 - 300 yards depending on
the propellant and whether or not it is a combustion
or pneumatic based launcher. Please check the legality
and read the disclaimer before constructing a potato
gun. Be sure to checkout the interactive how
it works link and my new Backyard Bazookas
